Preliminary Task

Missing Posters
These are the posters which we will use in the opening of our film, They are supposed to represent missing people and the idea of documents being used in offices. We will use the last poster of the older woman as a prop where Eduardo takes it from the filling cabinet and puts in his pocket. We used Microsoft word to produce these and we felt the more simple they were kept the more professional they would look.

Script
Script for ‘The Searchers’
(*Black and white footage* Camera is showing a close up of Ciaran’s face and then pans down onto the gun, the camera then zooms out onto the camera held up to Eduardo’s head by Ciaran)
Ciaran- ‘I thought we were friends’
(When Ciaran pulls the trigger, the scene fades out and the opening scene of inside the office begins) (Eduardo opens the door and the camera pans on the door handle and walks over to Ciaran at the desk)
Eduardo- ‘Any news?’
Ciaran- (Points at board with images on and Eduardo walks over)
Eduardo- ‘She looks very familiar, I think I have a document for her let me check.’ (This is where he walks over to the file cabinet and looks through folders, here there will be our names on the folders and we will use this as the opening sequence, on the folder it will say our name and our role in the film.)
(Eduardo then pulls out the fourth folder which he looks at and places it on the table next to Ciaran, Ciaran then opens it up and there is a close up on the document which shows a profile of a missing person’
Ciaran- ‘I think she’s the one, do you know where she was last seen?’ (Looks through the document)
Eduardo- ‘Im not sure, all I know is that she is Sergeant Dyers daughter.’
Ciaran- (stands up whilst folding the piece of paper into his suit pocket, the camera then pans downwards to show the gun in ciarans pocket and then pans back upwards to Eduardo’s face)
Eduardo- ‘Where are we going?’
Ciaran- ‘just follow me!
(they both start walking towards the door, Ciaran then does up his jacket and Eduardo opens and walks through the door first, this is followed by Ciaran turning of the lights and the camera fades out )
