Response to Brief
Synopsis-
We will start the beginning of our film of with a flashback becuase we believe this will be a good way of drawing the audience in as they will be intregued to find out what happened leading up to that scene. The flashback will consist of Ciaran holding a gun up to Eduardos head and saying ''i thought we were friends'' this will make it more clearer that it is a thriller, this scene will then fade out into the Eduardo walking through the door, this is when the real opening begins,
The next scene is of Eduardo walking into the office (the camera will pan on the sign on the door), We will use tracking across the room in order to establish the setting and Then Ciaran is sitting at the desk on the computer whilst Eduardo walks over to look at the images on the board and reviews the situation, Ciaran will be on the computer looking at documents off the missing people. Eduardo will then go on looking at the files in the cabinet in order to show screen credits we will incorporate our names and job roles on to the folders, Eduardo will then pull out a relevant file and look inside where there will be a story of a missing person, showing a image and also the invividuals story. The final part of our short clip will include Ciaran and Eduardo putting weapons (guns) into there suit pocket and we will do a close up shot on the gun followed by another close up of Eduardo folding up a picture of one of the missing people. The final shot will be off Ciaran and Eduardo walking out of the door and Ciaran turns the light off.

We estimated that this would be approximately 2 minutes long and we will be filming it during the day, this is to enhance the fact that they are 'working.' Tense music will be played were needed in order to add effect onto the opening sequence and also to build tension to make the audience want to watch more. The Name of our film is 'The Searcher' because it relates to the job roles of Eduardo and Ciaran. We also felt this sounded fairly like a thriller film.
